It is important to understand the washing symbols meaning in order to obtain better results and not to ruin your clothes. This is meaningful above all for the people who do the laundry for the first time.

It is possible that a new cloth has more than one label. If you want to remove the labels because they are too bulky, remember to read carefully the one with washing symbols. A wrong washing can demage your cloth at the first cycle.

The bowl with X indicates that the cloth can’t be washed in water (only dry-cleaning)

The hand symbol in the bowl indicates that the cloth can be washed only by hand

The triangle indicates that the cloth can be treated with bleach or chlorine

The triangle with X indicates that the cloth cannot be treated with bleach or chlorine

The triangle with CL indicates that the cloth can be bleached with chlorin products

The cloth can be treated with oxygen-based bleach without using chlorine

The iron symbol with x indicates that the cloth can’t be ironed

The iron with a ball indicates that the cloth can be ironed at maximum of 110°C, without steam.

The iron with two balls indicates that the cloth can be ironed at maximum 150°C

The iron with two balls indicates that the cloth can be ironed at maximum 200°C
